Bill Montgomery plays electric and upright bass and has lived in the Clear Lake area for three decades. He appreciates a well-crafted bass guitar almost as much as he appreciates reptiles. He enjoys all kinds of music but especially has a soft spot for the music of Lucinda Williams, John Prine, Patti Smith, the Cowboy Junkies, Alejandro Escovedo, the Blasters, Miles Davis and Bakersfield honky-tonk.
